Wankaner is an important station to transfer the table salt from MG lines
to BG lines for the rest of the country. Here is a view of the BG lines, the tank
wagon is used to transport water to arid areas on the way while the white sacks of salt
can be seen loaded in the box wagons. A few wated split sacks lie on the ground near the
first two box wagons. |

The ramp line next to the loco shed. This MG line is used to transfer MG
wagons and locos to BG flat wagons when they are sent to Ahmedabad for periodic overhaul.
Two of the locos to be scrapped are waiting on the line at the left. |
